Open Saturdays between November and May, the Redland Country Market on SW 248th Street offers a delightful assortment of fresh produce, baked goods, art and activities for kids at the site of the historic Redland Farm Life School.

Introducing the Redland Country Market.

At the site of the historic Redland Farm Life School on SW 248th Street and 162 Avenue, a delightful market of fresh local delights, along with arts and crafts and activities for the kids pops up every Saturday during the high season from November to May.

Located across the street from Knaus Berry Farm, the Redland Country Market is bringing the farming and artist community together in a historical location to assist in the restoration of the Redland Farm Life School.

Redland Farm Life School

The historic Redland Farm Life School was the epicenter of education and community activities in the Redland farming region in the early 20th century.

Redland Country Market seeks offer local farmers, bakers, artists, craftspeople and entrepreneurs of the Homestead/Redland area a unique venue, while funding these worthy projects.  This historic community learning center, the Redland Farm Life School, offers a glimpse of local history.

There’s fun for the whole family at the Redland Country Market.

Future plans for the site include the ability to purchase locally grown food, hand-crafted items and baked goods.

Redland Country Market’s efforts also promote the Veterans To Farmers Program through the local non-profit Redland Ahead.

Redland Ahead was formed in part to support the training of under-served populations and Veterans to become farmers & explore careers in Agri-Business in programs offered by Florida International University and University of Florida (TREC).

The Redland Country Market runs every Saturday from 8am to 5:30pm, from November to the end of May at 16155 SW 248th St, Miami, FL 33187
