Troop 418 of Homestead is a Boy Scout Troop in the Thunderbird District of the South Florida Scouting Council, meeting every Monday evening at 7pm at Camp Owaissa Bauer. Their mission is “to be the most fun Boy Scout troop that we can create,” offering a strong and very active program, lead by boys and focused on their needs.

Scouts have an opportunity to grow in mind, body, and spirit through service activities, adventures, camping, team work, and merit badge advancement. They will also have opportunities leading to the ultimate accomplishment, becoming an Eagle Scout. Trained and actively involved adult leaders strive to provide leadership and advancement opportunities for every boy.

Troop 418 is proudly chartered by the American Legion – John G. Salley Post 43, in Homestead, Florida.

Are you interested in camping or hiking, swimming or kayaking, scuba or fishing, or anything in between? They offer it along with the opportunity to learn new skills and reach personal goals. The boys paddle, climb, hike, shoot, bike, cook, camp, swim, create, learn, and more.
