The historic Hotel Redland Restaurant in Homestead (at 5 South Flagler Ave) may have the former name of the Whistle Stop, but their delightful Mediterranean cuisine menu from Spain is prepared by their new Barcelona-trained chef.

Thursday from 7 to 12pm is Paella Night, a dish whose main ingredient is yellow saffron rice cooked with other ingredients such as fish, seafood, poultry, meat, vegetables, etc. It’s a typical dish of all Spanish regions, especially in Valencia.

Friday Night Jazz starts at 9pm. In addition to live entertainment, the Friday Night Special includes a bottle of wine and an assorted table of prosciutto, cheese and Tumaca bread for two persons for $59.

Sunday Brunch from 10am to 2:30pm features all-you-can-eat home-made specialties for $14.95 ($6.50 for kids).

Plus, they have Happy Hour from 4 to 7pm in the Library Bar.
