Orchid enthusiasts won’t want to miss the opportunity to attend a series of special free seminars and master classes in the Redland region offered by orchid experts during the third weekend of October. There is also a chance to win one of four orchid collections when you pick up an entry coupon and have it stamped at three of these nurseries during the sale weekend.

Friday, October 19 classes include “Repotting and Mounting Orchids in South Florida” at Soroa Orchids at 10:30am. “Growing Tolumnias” at Whimsy Orchids at 1pm.

Saturday, October 20 classes include “Growing Vandas in South Florida” at Motes Orchids at 10:30am. “Growing Den. superbum and related species” at Carib Plants at 1pm. “Orchids in the Florida Landscape” at Soroa Orchids at 3pm.

Sunday, October 21 classes include “Growing Cattleyas” at Whimsy Orchids at 10:30am. “Growing Dendrobiums in South Florida” at Motes Orchids at 1pm. “Phalaenopsis Culture” at Carib Plants at 3pm.
