One of the more unusual fruits grown in South Florida, the incredible jackfruit originated in the region between the Western Ghats of southern India and the rainforests of Malaysia. The ripe fruit is sweet and is often used for desserts, or dried and eaten as a snack, with a meat-like texture that lends itself to being used as a vegetarian meat substitute. Stop by Robert Is Here fruit stand and farm to experience jackfruit, as well as their fabulous selection of fresh tropical delights.
