Here's a few items of interest for those that enjoy a visit to the countryside.
Saturday, December 2
Bring the whole family out for the annual Homestead Main Street Holiday Tree Lighting at Losner Park i downtown Homestead Saturday evening, starting at 5pm. The stage is set for dance and music performances. Horses will lead the parade for Santa and Mrs. Claus. The evening will close with two family friendly Holiday movies in the park. Like all Main Street Festivals, there is no charge for the event. There will be food for sale and other vendors to enjoy or plan to dine at one of the downtown restaurants. The park is located in downtown Homestead at 104 North Krome Avenue.
