Explore the nature preserve on your own, spend time on the many paths, sit by the water, linger at the koi pond and support their non-profit mission of creating habitats for native species through reforestation, conservation and education. Walk the same paths as Indigenous People, Miami’s early settlers, and even Charles Deering while you navigate the moments that linger on. Tour may contain mature subject matter. Mark your calendar for the final MuSe event of the season at the Seminole Theatre, hosted by the Homestead Center For The Arts featuring Miami-based singer/songwriter/poet Alexa Lash, with a voice often referred to as soulful, unique and powerful. Fans of the legendary Main Street Café in Homestead will apreciate this new generation of gifted musical storytellers. Tickets are only $5 thanks to a grant from the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs. The live performance will be streamed in real time on HCA Facebook, among other viewing options.
