On Saturday, November 20th and Sunday, November 21st starting at 11am, visit Schnebly Winery and Miami Brewing Company for a special Artisan Market Holiday Shop and Sip. Find a unique Holiday present while trying craft beer and wine, plus great food. The market will feature more than 50 female owned businesses ranging from trendy clothes to jewelry, artisan goods, children’s boutiques and more. Plus, food and beverage trucks and live entertainment by Jimi Dred on Saturday and Luna on Sunday. Black Friday deals and specials from all vendors. Admission is free.

Star Gazing At Bill Sadowski Park

The Southern Cross Astronomy Observation Deck officially reopens for sky viewing at Bill Sadowski Park in Palmetto Bay. Assisted by the Southern Cross Astros with hi-tech equipment, an 18" diameter SCAS Dobsonian telescope, the largest in Miami-Dade to provide awesome celestial observations of the seasonal southern night skies to the public. Bring binoculars, scopes, chair, bug repellent and relax under the southern night sky. Dim headlights at park entrance. Safe solar viewing may be available late afternoon. Bill Sadowski Park is located at 17555 SW 79th Avenue.

Miami-Dade County District Eight Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins has announced details of the annual drive-thru turkey and dessert drive at Peterson's Harley Davidson in Cutler Bay. No one deserves to go hungry, especially during the holiday season. Thanks to the Miami Dolphins Foundation, Publix, Peterson's Harley Davidson, and small local District 8 businesses Lola the Baker, The Fudge Pie Co., and Redland’s Ice Cream and Bakery for their generosity and participation. Enjoy a magical night of music and storytelling at the Sunset Folk Music Series at Castellow Hammock Park. Acclaimed Florida folk musicians, Jennings and Keller open the evening followed by a special encore presentation of Haunted Redland: Strange Tales of Redland and Homestead Country. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket with your favorite treats or pre-order treats from Boards By V Charcuterie.​ Glass bottles are prohibited. The cost is $8 per person. This delightful story presents the dramatized life of Charles Dickens and the struggles that he himself navigated during a period of excessive restriction while forging his most beloved story, "A Christmas Carol." This unique digital presentation features self-recorded actors in shelter-at-home locations incorporating 19th century virtual backdrops and aided by the deft talents of editor Paul Steinsland.
