Taste The Tropics at Fruit and Spice Park

Touch, smell and taste the world of exotic fruits at the Fruit & Spice Park, where the tropical delights change with the seasons, so there's always something new and delicious to discover. Guided tram tours are conducted every day at 11am, 1:30 and 3pm, weather permitting. Admission is $10 per adult, $3 per child 6 to 11, and children under 6 are free. Picnic facilities are available. The park is open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm. Call 305-247-5727.

Delve into the history of Homestead and Redland on a virtual tour with HistoryMiami Museum's Resident Historian, Dr. Paul George. Hear stories of Homestead's "First Citizen" William J. Krome and of the mysteries surrounding the famed Coral Castle. View the historic district of Downtown Homestead, including the Historic Town Hall Museum and Seminole Theatre. Explore the area's agricultural roots and the thriving farming community still present today. The presentation will feature a lecture by Dr. George accompanied with a visual presentation of contemporary and archival images. Price: $15. Museum Members: $5.

Strap yourself in and hold on to the person next to you because the NY Rockabilly Rockets will take you back in time to sock hops, malt shops, hot rods, and your favorite songs, performing the classic and beloved hits from Sun Records and Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, The Stray Cats, and many other great artists. Tickets are $35 to $45.

A unique musical experience inspired by the musical evolution of both Jimmy Page & Robert Plant. In The Light of Led Zeppelin is bringing audiences a new musical and visual interpretation of the Led Zeppelin Experience. A genre-bending, chance-taking project, the music is performed with the same detail using the authentic instrumentation from the hard-rocking Zeppelin classics to the acoustic masterpieces all performed by six Grammy-nominated musicians.
