Celebrate Stone Crab Season with the best and freshest Stone Crabs at Schnebly Winery for a limited time. This weekend, Movies on the Lawn will feature a Double Horror Extravaganza -- their very first drive-in experience. Get your friends in the car and drive down to Homestead to be terrified with showings of “It” and “It 2” on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and 9pm respectively. Saint Patrick’s Day is next week, and Miami Brewing Company wants to start celebrating early. Visit the Taproom on March 13 and 14 and again March 20 and 21 to celebrate St. Patrick with green beer. A variety of popular music will alternate each time from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, plus Country and some Latin flavor. Enjoy the fresh home-made Milk Shakes, Cinnamon Pastries, Hot Dogs, Pizza and more. At Ladies of Legacy, these leaders will share their stories, obstacles, motivations, and how they have become the powerhouses they are today. The event begins with the Lucky Lady Raffle before the buffet lunch at the Spur of the Moment Ranch, located at 24700 Southwest 152nd Avenue. Tickets are $45 to $75.

City of Homestead’s much-anticipated high-tech library -- marrying traditional library services with advanced technology and innovative programming -- The Cybrarium will celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony ay noon before the facility opens to the public at 2pm. This unique community resource features virtual reality, 3D printing, children’s theater, and a brand new collection of library books. Residents of Miami Dade County are encouraged to visit www.cybrarium.org now to apply for their free Cybrarium Card, reserve items for opening day, and begin accessing the digital collection and other online resources. Calling all explorers: get ready to discover Zoo Miami in a whole new way with a virtual scavenger hunt using an app on your mobile phone. While enjoying a stroll through the park, families can use clues to find twelve fun eggs hidden all throughout the walkways. Once finished, guests can redeem their prize of eight treat-filled eco-friendly eggs and purchase their very own Springtastic Basket filled with eggs, a souvenir cup, goodies, and more. The East Everglades Orchid Society will host an American Orchid Society Outreach Judging event Celebrating Spring at the Banyon Pavilion of R. F. Orchids. The American Orchid Society’s judging system is one of the most highly respected horticultural award systems in the world. Highly trained AOS judges evaluate and recognize new and superior forms of orchid species, improved forms of orchid hybrids and plants exhibiting superior culture. The first 1,000 kids will receive special giveaways throughout this interactive Drive-Thru experience, including Scavenger Eggs, Craft Kits and Easter Eggs.
