Get the girlfriends together for the new Ladies Night Thursdays from 5 to 9pm at Miami Brewing Company, featuring drinks, shots and cocktails for just $3 all night long, as the gals enjoy Top 40 Latin Hits -- dancing into the night. There’s something for the guys as well. Kill a Keg Happy Hour starts at 4:30pm, with $4 beers until the keg runs out. Make plans to meet up at Schnebly's on Thursday evenings. This bygone remnant of the great depression was a well planned suburb destined to be an ideal community back in the 1920s. Discover the forgotten history of Aladdin City and the company that boasted they could start construction on a home in the morning and finish before sundown. Ballet & Beyond artistic director Karen Hirst Kennedy presents Alice in Wonderland, a story ballet in two Acts, telling the tale of Alice in her home with her sister and tutor. An exciting rendition of the tumultuous journey of a young girl’s imagination Alice in Wonderland, this performance will delight children and adults alike, danced by the professionally trained Ballet & Beyond dancers at the Seminole Theatre, Friday, June 11th 6:30pm and Saturday, June 12th at 1pm and 6:30pm.

The City of Homestead has partnered with local employers to host a Job Fair at the Phichol Williams Community Center. Attendees will have the chance to meet with local employers with current openings, including the City of Homestead. The Job Fair is the result of a partnership between the City of Homestead, Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency, and Homestead Station QALICB. Early access begins at 5:30pm. Screenings begin at 7pm. Tickets are $20.

Enjoy an artful shopping experience indoors at the Events Banquet Hall on Campbell Drive, featuring hand-crafted items by local artists and artisans. Enjoy nice music, tapas for sale, and a cash bar; all intended to make this a leisurely, fun shopping experience. There will also be a 50-50 and a Chinese raffle with items from the vendors. Bring the family to the 17 acre Redland Equestrian Center for Farm and Horse Tours, or Horseback Riding Tours of the Redland, open at 10am everyday by pre-paid reservation. Kids will love a day outside on the farm with Pony and Horse Lead Rides, petting farm, oak tree hammock and lychee grove. Reserve your Agricultural Learning Events for School, Company or Birthday. Enjoy Photography Session with horses and other animals. The largest and oldest equestrian center in the area, it's a great place for Horse Boarding and Training, since 1999. The Seminole Theatre is bringing back their annual summer camp – with a twist. For the second year in a row, they'll host a smaller more intimate cycle theatre style summer camp. Cycle plays have been around for hundreds of years, and involve performers keeping their distance in separate rooms to tell the same story together in sequences. This is the perfect opportunity to let your child's inner performer shine. No previous experience required and best of all, they get to show off all of there hard work on the last two days of camp to a live audience. Cost is $150 per week for 6 weeks. Call 786-650-2073.
