This bygone remnant of the great depression was a well planned suburb destined to be an ideal community back in the 1920s.  | June 12 from 10am to 3pm Job Fair at the Community Center The City of Homestead has partnered with local employers to host a Job Fair at the Phichol Williams Community Center. Attendees will have the chance to meet with local employers with current openings, including the City of Homestead. The Job Fair is the result of a partnership between the City of Homestead, Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency, and Homestead Station QALICB. For the second year in a row, they'll host a smaller more intimate cycle theatre style summer camp. Cycle plays have been around for hundreds of years, and involve performers keeping their distance in separate rooms to tell the same story together in sequences.
