Attend the Second Annual Showcase of Homestead Center for the Arts at the Seminole Theatre from 6 to 9pm. All new this year -- exclusively handcrafted items at the Artists and Artisans Craft Fair, starting at 6pm. On-stage live performances begin at 7:30pm, featuring music, dance, visual delights, laughs, and more.

Military Appreciation Day at Losner Park

Military Appreciation Day at Losner Park
Bring the family out to downtown Homestead for a wonderful day of celebration and appreciation of our nation's military members and families, from 2pm to 7pm with specialized military vehicles and interactive displays. A free community event -- Military Appreciation Day aims to better unify civilians with all branches of the military.

United We Stand-Up Comedy Show

United We Stand-Up Comedy Show
Celebrate Military Appreciation Month at the Seminole Theatre by having some laughs with United We Stand-Up, starting at 8pm. Enjoy a hilarious line-up of comedians who have all served in the Armed Forces. All seats just $15 ($10 for active duty and veterans). Come early to enjoy the City of Homestead Military Appreciation Day next door in Losner Park.

May 17,18, 19 - Redland International Orchid Festival

Redland International Orchid Festival at Fruit & Spice Park
The largest and most complete orchid festival in Florida, the 2019 Redland International Orchid Fest spans three days at the Fruit & Spice Park From Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19th, from 9am to 5pm. With more than 85 vendors from around the world, the American Orchid Society judging events, and a renowned lecture series, the event also include international foods. Admission is $10, or $25 for a three day pass.
