6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
When you come to the restored Seminole Theatre in Homestead, you will see some great art in the downstairs and upstairs lobbies. The City selects an artist (or artists) every two months to put up a new exhibit. October was cut a little short due to delays caused by Irma, but Mimi Dickson is on display through the end of November. There will be a Meet The Artist Reception Mon, Oct 23, 2017 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Seminole Theatre. There is no charge and Mimi will be on hand to discuss her art. She has long been a friend to the Redland Tropical Gardens and will be donating all the proceeds from the show to help them recover from Hurricane Irma. The Seminole has a lot going on during this time so drop by the theatre, enjoy the art and look at the performance/event line-up. They are open Tues-Sat 12:00-6:00 p.m. and for shows.
