Bring the family out to the winery for the Carambola Stomp Come Back on Labor Day weekend from noon to 5pm with tons of fun and prizes.
The Carambola, also known as Star Fruit, was originally native to India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Over the past century, they’ve become an import crop for growers in the Redland region.
Carambola makes a delightful wine, one of the favorites among visitors to Schnebly Redland’s Winery. It also makes a fine relish and preserve.
The Winery and Restaurant will have extended hours on Sunday: noon to 7pm.
