

The Main Street Carnival Parade and Flavors of The Caribbean Festival is fun for the whole family.
Come out for the Main Street Carnival Parade on Krome Avenue in downtown Homestead, followed by Flavors of the Caribbean Festival with delicious food, vendors, dance, music and kids activities.

- event begins at 4pm in Lozner Park
- parade begins at 5pm with the famous Junkaroo Band of Mocko Jumbies
- parade route: Krome Avenue starting at NW 4th Street marching south, ending at Mowry Avenue
- Flavors of the Caribbean offers music, food and fun
Carnival Grand Marshall Larry Roth, Carnival King Charles Gugliuzza, and this year’s Carnival Queen Bishop Irene Harris lead the way, followed by all the beautiful floats, dance units and surprises.
Foodies can savor the cuisine of local Caribbean restaurants, food trucks and great BBQ provided by Dickson BBQ in the park. Downtown Homestead’s local restaurants will also be open for visitors to enjoy.
Dance to the music of the Rockin Jake Band and Piano Bob’s 88’s Blues Band — with DJ Oski keeping us movin’ and groovin’ all the way.
Visitors to the festival are invited to park in the new parking lot on the west side of Losner Park, entering on NW 2nd Street. Krome Avenue will be closed during the parade from 4:30 to 6pm.
The Main Street Carnival Parade and Flavors of the Caribbean Festival is organized by the members of Homestead Main Street, a nonprofit organization dedicated to economic revitalization and historic preservation of the Historic District of Homestead.
