Saturday, January 21, 2017 — The annual Redland Riot Road Rallye is a fruity, tropical history tour through the Redland farming region on the third Saturday in January.
This leisurely automobile adventure through Miami’s Bountiful Countryside is a wonderful opportunity to learn a bit about the pioneer era one hundred years ago and stock up on fresh produce, orchids, exotic fruits and home-made delicacies during the winter and spring seasons.
This is a fun event for car enthusiasts, tropical fruit lovers, history buffs and anyone who enjoys a leisurely drive through the vast rural areas where farms and orchards stretch for miles.
Gather your family and friends together. Each car is a team. Meeting at Cauley Square between 10 and 11am, each team receives a map and driving directions, along with a set of cryptic questions to be answered along the way. At the final destination, the Schnebly Winery and Brewery, answer sheets are handed in for judges to score. The winning team wins a prize package worth less than one million dollars.
