Woman's Club of Homestead
What If Works presents the Emily Project. Enjoy a spellbinding portrait of Emily Dickinson, America’s most celebrated and enigmatic poet when the Belle of Amherst, written by Wiliam Luce, comes to the Woman’s Club of Homestead on Sunday, November 4th at 2pm.
The 1976 play makes use of her work, diaries, and letters to recollect her encounters with the significant people in her life — family, close friends, and acquaintances. It balances the agony of her seclusion with the brief bright moments when she was able to experience some joy.
Nicole Quintana plays Emily Dickinson. The play is directed by Phillip Church. This performance will be ASL interpreted for the deaf community.
