This Is The Dog! — a non-profit animal rescue, adoption and education organization — is hosting their annual costume party and fundraiser, Wizard of OZ: There’s No Place Like Home at the Miami Brewing Company at Schnebly’s Redland Winery on October 19th from 6:30 to 9:30pm.

This is a fun event for the whole family. All vaccinated, leashed well-behaved dogs are encouraged to attend, with costume contests, silent auctions, raffles and more.

Food and drinks available for purchase at the tap room.

This rescue group educates the community, promotes spay/neuter of all pets, and works to find forever homes for pets who have none. Foster homes are located mainly in Homestead.

Adoption events are every first and third Saturday of the month at Petco in Homestead (2565 Northeast 10th Court, Homestead, FL 33035) from noon to 3pm.
