Road Trip Through Redland History is the theme for the 2018 Villagers’ Annual Historic Hunt and Road Rally on April 28, starting at 2pm at the Women’s Club of Homestead, 17905 SW 292 Street.
No experience is needed for this mad-cap two-hour adventure that will culminate in a BBQ dinner from 4 to 6pm upon return to the Women’s Club of Homestead. Registered teams of 1 to 6 members drive their own cars on this clue-solving quest, touching on some of the area’s most interesting historic sites.
The Villagers have been hosting Historic Hunts for more than 30 years and have developed a reputation for creating lots of laughter and good-natured team competition while exposing the little-known, often quirky side of local history.
Tickets are $35 and are available through Villagers’ members or online at http://www.thevillagersinc.org
All proceeds support historic restoration and preservation in Miami-Dade County. Founded in 1966, The Villagers, Inc. is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization.
